Welcome Message
Following the 1st GWTO-OMET Global Summit on Responsible Enotourism in 2024 (Punta del Este, Uruguay), and the 2nd one in 2025 (Yantai, China), the Organizing Committees of Global Wine Tourism Organization (GWTO) and that of Entidade Regional de Turismo do Alentejo are pleased to present the upcoming ‘3rd GWTO-OMET Global Summit on Responsible Enotourism’, which will be hosted by the municipality of Beja (Baixo Alentejo, Portugal), European City of Wine 2026.
The event will offer its participants -from academia, the private sector and the public sector- professional opportunities to establish an international network of contacts and collaborations at the highest level.
The GWTO-OMET Global Summits show a unique platform to promote the brands in the exhibition area, to close business in the B2B rounds with international tour operators, to present in the International Academic Forum the most cutting-edge research and the most outstanding practices in the field of Responsible EnoGastro Tourism developed by destinations and companies, and to visit the enotourism destination Baixo Alentejo, harmonizing its wines with local gastronomy.

GWTO Founder President CEO
