Helena Ferreira Manuel is an agricultural engineer with a background in business management.

Since 2015, she has been responsible for the operational management of Herdade dos Lagos in Mértola, where she applies organic farming practices, regenerative agriculture, and wine tourism. Her work focuses on viticulture, biodiversity, conservation of natural resources, and agricultural adaptation to the conditions of inland Alentejo.

She is also recognized for sharing technical knowledge in sustainability and wine tourism.
