Since 2008, she has played an active role in structuring and enhancing the tourism offering of the Azores. She has contributed to the coordination and implementation of regional plans such as the Strategic Plan for Tourism Animation of the Central and Eastern Groups, the Azores Tourism Strategic and Marketing Plan, and the structuring of the Azores Routes – Cultural and Landscape Itineraries, with particular emphasis on the Wine Route.

Since January 2026, she has been coordinating the Destination Sustainability Structure – Azores DMO, which is responsible for the international certification of the Azores as a Sustainable Tourist Destination by EarthCheck.
