GWTO-OMET Academy Europe Director. She has served as Director General of Tourism Policy at the Greek Ministry of Tourism since 2018, with prior senior leadership roles in higher education and human resources at the Ministry of Education. She holds a PhD in European Economics and Tourism Policy, along with postgraduate degrees in European Studies and Public Economics. She has represented Greece in international organizations, including OECD and UN Tourism, and has coordinated EU-funded projects. Her research and publications focus on tourism policy at international, European, and national levels. She is the author of the books “Developing the European Policy in Tourism in the context of European Integration” and “The Tourism Policyat International, European and National Levels”.
