Founder in 2000 of the Instituto Gastronómico de Estudios Superiores (IGES University), the GWTO-OMET Academy hub in Mexico. She is an international reference at the intersection of academia, innovation, and responsible tourism.

She is a specialist in gastrodiplomacy and one of the most influential figures in the safeguarding of Mexico’s food heritage, having been part of the committee that achieved the designation of Querétaro Cuisine as Intangible Cultural Heritage of the State in 2011.

She is the founder of the Conservatory of Querétaro Gastronomic Culture and has led high-impact social projects, such as a women’s empowerment program through amaranth cultivation, recognized with the Mujer Banorte Award.
